Elm park 50th Birthday Party

We launched our Celebration Inquiry with a huge party for Elm Park School. This year our school will turn 50! We had a great day with our school friends and our whanau.

Manawa said," I found the treasure real fast. I loved the party."

We are learning to write for an audience and publish quality work to share.

I am learning to know my alphabet names and sounds

I am learning to make the beginning sounds in unknown words.  I need to get my mouth ready to make the sound and this activity helps me remember.

I am learning to order numbers

I am learning to order numbers to 10.  Next I will be moving onto number order to 20.
